By the time of this year's UHR Conference, which starts on 10 May 2022, we might know whether we have successfully steered a course for our universities through the choppiest of Covid waters. We’ve been through an unprecedented period of challenge and uncertainty, and from the higher education HR point of view this has certainly been a time of “all hands on deck”.
Wherever our universities are sailing next, at UHR22 we need to make sure that our staff are together, aligned and focused on facing the future – that everyone is onboard. We’ll be looking at the huge shift in our working lives caused by the pandemic, culture change as a result of Covid, and the psychological contract with people that now have greater expectations of a more hybrid future.
What new opportunities has the crisis brought us – to reassess relationships with trades unions, to rethink health and wellbeing, to take big steps forwards on equality and inclusion, or to be more effective and efficient post-Covid? What needs fixing – pay and pensions, toxic cultures, entitlement? As always, to take the temperature of HR in the sector, and to join in the vital conversations on every aspect of the HR remit in our universities, the UHR Conference is the place to be. It’s the HR anchor in ever-changing seas. Let’s get everyone onboard for UHR22.
We hope you can join us. With great value Team Tickets available once more we hope to see a fantastic representation of colleagues from every university. Last year more than 2000 HE HR staff were able to join in, and select sessions that worked for them. We'd love all of you and more to be with us once more for #UHR22.
You'll appreciate that planning for our annual conference starts many months in advance and during a period of maximum uncertainty that means we have chosen for #UHR22 to be a virtual conference once more, being held online from 10 to 12 May. Individuals at UHR member universities can book single places, or entire member HR teams can book using a Team Ticket option. Team Tickets are priced according to UHR subscription bands, and allow every team member to attend as much or as little of the conference as they wish.
A limited number of single individual tickets for non-members in higher education is also available.
All costs are shown inclusive of any VAT applicable at 20%.
