The Emerging Leaders' Programme

UHR in partnership with The Roffey Park Institute

Roffey Park is an internationally recognised leadership institute and has been working with senior leaders across the globe for over 50 years, with a wealth of experience in the private, public and third sectors.

Date and Venue

This is a four day residential programme taking place at Roffey Park, Horsham, West Sussex: Module One and Module Two will take place over two days on 13th and 14th January and 3rd and 4th March, respectively.   Commitment to ongoing development will be expected in the form of membership of an Action Learning Set and establishing a mentoring relationship with a UHR Mentor at HR Director level.

Programme Aim

To help you make the transition from senior HR professional to HR Director or similar leadership role.

By the end of the Emerging Leaders’ programme you will be able to:

• Articulate your value as a leader and what you want to bring as a senior HR leader
• Demonstrate understanding of strategic challenges to the HR sector and to HR, and potential responses to those challenges
• Build a high performing HR team
• Flex your influencing style in order to generate positive outcomes with senior stakeholders
• Act as internal consultant to build effective relationships to generate stakeholder engagement
• Act as change agent with awareness of different approaches to change that will be effective in their context
• Be confident and credible as a senior HR leader
• Take ongoing responsibility for your continued development

Who should attend?

This programme is aimed at senior HR professionals within bands 3 or 4 (now chartered member and chartered fellow levels) who are likely to attain an HR directorship role within the next 2-3 years.

Cost

The cost of the four day programme, including residential costs is £1950 (plus VAT).  This rate has been subsidised by UHR as part of its commitment to develop the HR leaders of the future.
