UHR Connects Scotland

UHR Connects is a series of regional, in-person, one-day development events that will enable HR staff at all levels* to connect face-to-face, at low cost and at a venue a little closer to home. Each day will include presentations from HE sector experts sharing best practice and relevant research topics, as well as insight from UHR colleagues, and lots of opportunities for networking and discussion. If you’re missing the in-person aspect of our UHR annual conference, and budgets and time away from the desk are a challenge, this is the ideal way to connect with HR staff in other HEIs, learn from and with each other, and build your networks as a resource for the future.

All members are welcome to attend any of the events - you do not have to be based in that particular area. The events have been designed to reduce the need for accommodation, however if you require accommodation you will need to organise this yourself.

*All members are welcome to join this event but it may be helpful to know that the content and activities of the day are designed for established practitioners or mid-level managers. Although job titles vary greatly across the sector, this would typically include Senior Advisor/Officer, Business Partner or Head of Function. For Senior HR leaders, such as CPOs, HRDs and Deputies (or equivalent), we would invite you to attend our Senior HR Summit. The 2024 Summit in June is currently at capacity, but the 2025 Summit will be launched early 2025.
