09 May 2019      Caroline Jones, Employment tax director

(A UHR/BUFDG partnership event)

We are delighted to announce that we will be holding an event on 3 Jul 2019 at Herriot-Watt University focusing on the potential issues for universities of internationally mobile staff. This event mirrors a session held earlier this year in London and is aimed at senior HR, Payroll and Finance colleagues who are currently engaged in, or considering, employing staff overseas and will help address some of the concerns that internationalisation brings for universities.

This free event, which kicks off at 9.45 am with registration and networking for a 10 am start and finishes at 1pm with lunch, is free as a service to members and demand is likely to be high, so please don't delay in booking your place.

We have a great range of speakers from the university sector, professional accountancy firms and employment law covering a range of subjects including:

  • Employee related complications
  • The Herriot-Watt experience
  • Flying faculty – what are the legal implications and
  • Top ten hints and tips when sending staff overseas
