Day Five: Friday 14th May

Turning learning into action

There’s no formal UHR Conference programme on Friday, but we are encouraging two types of activity which we hope will help you reflect and cement the learnings from a week of conference activity.

UHR Regional meetings

Many of our UHR regions are using time on Friday 14 May to arrange regional meetings. These will be announced and arranged via the usual mechanisms so we won’t be providing details here. Catch up with regional colleagues, and help make sure no-one misses the crucial information from conference.

Team Time

We really hope that you have been able to use your Team Ticket to get colleagues into many of our conference sessions. All that learning needs to be shared, and what better way than by arranging some Team Time on Friday 14th? The majority of sessions will be recorded and links will be available, so you can catch up with the best sessions and make sure the team has taken what they need from UHR21: Refreshing HR. Who has inspired you? Who has challenged you? Which sessions gave you practical information that will help your next project? Who do you need to speak to for help? Why not arrange a Team Time session for Friday to get all those ideas down onto the plan? Of course this is a self-guided idea and UHR can do very little to actually make it happen. But whether today, or perhaps next week while conference is still fresh in your minds, we encourage you to do everything you can to turn inspirational conference sessions into concrete activity to support your everyday HR delivery.
