10:05 - 11:05 Flexible Futures
Gem Dale is a HR professional, Lecturer, Author and one our regional 'Flexperts'. The biggest flexible working experiment ever is happening right now! It’s important to consider how flexible working practices, including blended and hybrid working, can help you to be more responsive to the current change and support other big workplace agendas like wellbeing, attracting talent and inclusion. The session will include latest insights and facilitate a discussion to widen your understanding and explore possibilities to create more flexible workplace cultures.
11:10 - 11:40 From Trauma to Triumph
Michael founded ‘Lived Experience Trauma Support (LETs) in 2019 after surviving multiple ‘lifetraumas’ including the murder of his father, The Clutha Disaster in 2013 and ultimately a Mental Health breakdown. In this session Michael will be raising the awareness around Mental Health and during these unprecedented times of social distancing and remote working Michael Byrne will share his own personal story and how to look after your own mental health and wellbeing.
We will then explore what this means in the context for you and your organisations through a facilitated breakout session.

Terry Roberts joined the Trust in February 2020 from The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where he was Director of People and Organisational Development. Prior to this he was Director of Workforce at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Associate Director of HR at Barts Health NHS Trust. Covid19 has exposed many challenges around how we can ensure that our workforce is totally inclusive and how we should respond differently to the current challenges taken account of flexible futures and how we can ensure wellbeing for everyone.
The session will include how we can learn from experiences to build on creating a more inclusive workforce, learning from our experiences during Covid19 and taking this forward to the ‘new normal’.
