BUFDG and UHR are pleased to welcome back KPMG, for a further “time to talk” session that will provide an update on the application of CJRS within the HE sector as well as an overview of the changes from 1 July 2020.
We will run through the changes being introduced from July 2020 to allow for ‘flexible furlough’, providing details from both a tax and employment law perspective in respect of how these will apply, the implications for employee eligibility, as well as their impact on the amount which can be claimed and the calculations required.
With further guidance issued on Friday 12th June, this session will provide an opportunity to discuss this in detail and help Universities consider some of the practical measures that will need to taken in line with our previous 4 stage approach to enable the scheme to be applied in a compliant manner.
