UHR’s networks are going from strength to strength

22 September 2023      Martin Higgs, Communications Officer

These are theme-specific groups, often for specialists, in which we share news, discuss different approaches and try to offer a supportive forum for those dealing with difficult technical issues.

Our Strategic Projects and Research Managers Emma Brookes and Sophie Crouchman lead them and if you’d like to be involved drop them a note – you’ll see a specific contact in the listings below.

Among the forthcoming network sessions are: UHR Career Pathways network meeting (27 September); UHR Ways of Working Group Meeting (28 September); UHR HR Administration Network Scoping Session (4 October); UHR Employee Investigation Network Meeting (21 November); UHR Engagement Group Meeting (22 November); and UHR Inclusive Recruitment Network Meeting (6 December). We’ll soon be re-launching our network on REF, research assessment and research culture in plenty of time to prepare for REF28. Finally a new Policy Network and a new HR Administration Network are being scoped and we intend to launch imminently.
